Get Trained

Organizations and businesses seeking overdose response training or to access resources for policy development and technical assistance can get free support through partners of the Maine Naloxone Distribution Initiative.

The trainings consist of:

  1. How to identify the risk factors for overdose.
  2. How to recognize and respond to the signs and symptoms of an overdose.
  3. Understanding how to administer naloxone.
  4. How to use first aid, CPR, and other basic life support interventions if needed
  5. And more.

Organizations looking to access naloxone to redistribute to high-risk communities can find more information here.
